Abagail Smedley serves as a File Management Specialist at Smedley Law Group, P.C., where she plays an important role in maintaining the organization and accuracy of the firm’s case files. Since joining the team in the summer of 2021, she has helped prepare client files, manage daily filing for active matters, and finalize records upon case completion. Her attention to detail and commitment to organization help ensure the firm’s legal processes run efficiently behind the scenes.

Abagail is currently a senior in college pursuing a double major in geology and marine biology, and she previously earned an associate’s degree in marine science. Her academic background reflects both her curiosity about the natural world and her dedication to continued learning, qualities she brings into her work each day.

Why do you enjoy working in family law?“After working with and filing many different types of cases, I’ve realized that adoptions are my favorite. Seeing families come together and knowing you’ve played even a small role in that process is incredibly rewarding.”
